ENGEN Safety and Environmental Policies

Through ENGEN's pursuit of excellent safety and environmental records, we have put additional safety and environmental programs into place.

 

ENGEN LLC is an OSHA VPP Star Site.  In the VPP, management, labor, and OSHA establish cooperative relationships at workplaces that have implemented a comprehensive safety and health management system.  The Star Program is designed for exemplary  worksites with comprehensive, successful safety and health management systems. Companies in the Star Program have achieved injury and illness
rates at or below the national average of their respective industries. These sites are self-sufficient in their ability to control workplace hazards.  Star participants are reevaluated every three to five years, although incident rates are reviewed annually.

 

ENGEN LLC is an ISO 14001 worksite.  The ISO 14000 environmental management standards exist to help organizations minimize how their operations negatively affect the environment (cause adverse changes to air, water, or land), comply with applicable laws, regulations, and other environmentally oriented requirements, and continually improve on the above.
